On May 4th, 2024 the final show of the 2023-2024 Emerging Artist Residency, "With Love", had its opening reception at the Q.ARMA, building located in Northeast Minneapolis! Fellow artists, Seneca Norvell, Sophia Davies, and Tamrat Hathaway, and I discovered that the art we produced throughout the EA program tended to revolve around objects, themes, and memories carrying deep love and care within - hence the title "with love".
My pieces, ranging from film photography to ceramics and acrylic painting, highlight aspects of San Francisco that tend to be underrepresented when non-San Franciscans think of the city that my family and I call home.
